Istanbul, Turkey – Bosphorus Strait & Golden Horn
Most Bosphorus cruises depart from the bustling piers at Eminönü or Kabataş, easily accessible from all major tourist areas. Look for the dedicated ticket offices and designated boat landings.
Take the T1 tram to Eminönü or Kabataş stations. Both stops drop you right at the waterfront, just steps away from the departure piers. If coming from the Asian side, the Marmaray to Sirkeci or ferries to Eminönü are excellent options.
Traffic around the departure points can be extremely heavy. If you must drive, use paid parking lots near Karaköy or Kabataş, but be prepared for congestion. Public transport or taxis are generally less stressful options for reaching the piers.
Numerous bus lines connect Taksim, Beşiktaş, and other districts to the coastal road. Hop off at Eminönü or Kabataş. The sightseeing buses also have stops nearby, making it easy to transfer from land to sea.
If you are exploring the Spice Bazaar or Galata Bridge, the Eminönü piers are just a short, scenic walk away. From Dolmabahçe Palace, you can easily walk to the Kabataş piers.
See centuries of history reflect off the water, witness the continental divide, and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze away from the city crowds.
Marvel at the sheer scale and opulence of Dolmabahçe Palace as it stretches along the European shore, followed by the grandeur of Çırağan Palace and the charming Beylerbeyi Palace on the Asian side.
Pass directly beneath the massive suspension bridges and gaze up at the medieval stone walls of Rumeli Fortress and Anadolu Fortress, standing guard over the narrowest point of the strait.
On your return, enjoy iconic views of the Maiden's Tower floating on the water and the historic silhouette of the Topkapı Palace and Hagia Sophia at the entrance to the Golden Horn.

Choose from budget-friendly public ferries, guided tourist boats, or luxurious private yachts.
Combine your cruise with a bus tour or a gala dinner for a complete Istanbul experience.
